Welcome - Let's Start A Movement!
(Dec. 18) It's become clear that we can't rely on OFNHP to bargain for the wages we deserve, to plan a winning contract campaign, or to engage and educate our coworkers. We can't even get straight answers out of them! If we're going to become a strong union and win a good contract, we're going to have to do it ourselves. That's the bad news. The good news is that I think we're very capable of doing it ourselves.
I would love to start building a network of volunteers at our 8 units in order to share information and develop strategies for engaging our coworkers and winning a great contract. If you're interested, let me know! You can reply to my giant email from the 15th or reach me at the email address on the Contact page.
(Dec. 20) I've also created a Mousepower discord for interested volunteers to talk about building a better, stronger union.
How To Save Our Union Contract
The wages our bargaining team have proposed are way too low, but there's a way to fix that. Email from 12/15/2025.
What Wages Should We Propose?
It's one thing to say the wages aren't good enough, but what should we ask for?
What Are Our Alternatives?
People wonder if we can change our bargaining team or our union. We can, but should we?
